FLEGO (1/5)

FLEGO is a series of composed entirely through edits of a single digital painting. Funnily enough, the original painting didn’t make it any of the final pieces. The subject itself is not important, other than the face is interesting, and the composition is off-balance. I originally intended the face as a standalone, yet after struggling with the layout for ages, I decided to introduce more hands, and duplicates of my friend’s face. The end result can be seen in this series of images. The two faces I use are clearly visible in Picture #3, and then Pictures #4 and #5 explore layering the faces at different opacities to create different skin tones. Pictures #1 and #2 concern space, while the latter two have a focus on both colours and composition.
